The CUB hosts more than 706,802 workers in industry, services, staff, tenants and pensioners, and includes the following unions of basic FLMUniti (metalworkers, telephone, energy); FLAICA (trade, food industry , urban sanitation, cleaning services), ALLCA (chemical, energy, pharmaceuticals, plastics, rubber), CUB-Building, School-CUB, CUB-Information, CUB-Retirees, Health-CUB, CUB-Textiles, CUB-airport ground transportation , Cobas_pt-CUB, FIAP, FLTUniti (transport); RdB (public employment, energy, Lsu, services); SALLCA-CUB (Banking and Insurance), Union of Tenants (home and land).
The CUB nasce nella primavera dei '92 per iniziativa di numerosi lavoratori fortemente critici nei confronti di cgil-cisl-uil. Come lavoratori ci siamo resi conto da tempo di non avere più un sindacato, cioè un’organizzazione che difenda i nostri interessi. Viviamo in un paese in cui i sindacati sono cinghia di trasmissione dei partiti e dei governo, mentre clientelismo e corruzione contraddistinguono un certo modo di fare sindacato. Tutti l'abbiamo vissuto sulla nostra pelle nei diversi posti di lavoro. Anche la stessa parola "sindacato" è diventata quasi una parolaccia.
Eppure c'è un bisogno enorme di sindacato, di tutela dei nostri diritti, d'informazione.
Per questo motivo abbiamo costituito la Unitary Confederation of Base (CUB)

- tutela ai consumatori in collaborazione con ACU (Associazione Consumatori Utenti)

The need to stop the continuing deterioration of conditions for workers, pensioners, prospects for new generations and the construction of a new era of improvements will require years of work and the willingness of many to engage.
The achievement of the CUB intends to pursue in the field require the implementation of an appropriate balance of power to overcome the resistance of those opposed to their achievement. the balance of power will result from the number of those who will work actively to support the action della CUB sia attraverso l'adesione, la partecipazione alle iniziative, promuovendo la costituzione della CUB nei luoghi di lavoro, informando altri lavoratori che esiste una valida alternativa all'attuale situazione, sia dando il proprio contributo di idee e se possibile di tempo.
C'è bisogno del sostegno e dell'impegno diretto di tutti noi, da ritagliare nell'orario di lavoro: ogni giorno bastano 10 minuti di pensiero e 650 lire perché non aderire? Ciascuno può impegnarsi secondo le proprie disponibilità e capacità. Facciamo crescere a macchia d'olio la nostra volontà di cambiare.
Se sei interessato alle nostre proposte, se condividi l’esigenza di costruire un forte sindacato di base, democratico, che risponde solo ai lavoratori, non metterti tra i rassegnati, assieme possiamo fare molto. Con la CUB si può.
