A moment of
NOLA - Rights - Employment - Democracy and a distressing scenario. That the national situation for the field work is critical, it is an obvious fact, and the meeting last night sponsored by the CGIL and the CGIL Napoli Nola section has shown the causes of this condition that gets worse every year. Gathered in the council chamber of the town of Nola speakers like John Nughes, secretary of the CGIL Napoli, Massimo Di Celmo of the National Juridical Council, Mark Esposito, professor of labor law at the University Parthenope, Patrick and Francis Nulli Arotta work of the Forensic School Sabatino Dioguardi of Democratic Lawyers and Nola, the debate began with greetings from Mayor Biancardi that, after expressing his concern about the seriousness of the topic, left the classroom to other commitments. "For eleven quarters work in our region is decreasing, layoffs rose by 29% more than in 2009: it is a crisis that affects all business sectors," said Nughes "We are facing a social emergency by which can not come out with policies or ad links that call into question the means of support to productive sectors. We, as CGIL, we have struggled and continue to fight for an idea of the work that means quality, social redemption, civic life, an idea that today, when the record is no longer the employee of the company but is not more valid. " The heart of the discussion was the recent law 183/2010 "Connected Work", argued by several guests: the norm, in fact, provides for exceptions to the application of the national contract and the impossibility for the courts to the merits of the organizational and production decisions companies, with worse consequences for the status of workers, "a policy exclusively to the business", to use as a Celmo. From here, the reflections on the tasks that belong to trade unions and the new episodes of discomfort at work, which has made a heartfelt discussion Serena Sorrentino, confederal secretary of the CGIL union: "We are doing resistance to ideology that this government is doing: the worker is asked to waive their rights before they enter the world of work. So we must offer an alternative model, the world of work must take on the contractual and championing of the review of this model. " A discourse, therefore, at odds with the current national political situation, but did not find totally disagree guests of the opposite ideology, as the Councillor for Social Policies Archangel Annunziata, also spoke at the meeting: "I agree that ' primary objective today is to protect the work, we must recognize the dramatic situation and retrieve a profile it is a strong reformist logic common to all parties. " In addition, we are also training centers and universities, has also spoken of the imminent closure of Parthenope Nolan, that Salvatore Velardi commented: "The town of Nola must oppose with all his strength to a risk of this nature. The CGIL is an official partner of the University of Nola, especially its students. "

Then it was the turn of a "precarious luxury," as she put down: Nunzia Cassese. The young journalist has called in his speech the issue of the inability to plan a project of life, because of the lack of certainty and stable attachment.
E 'followed by reading, by Rossana Corbo, an article appeared in the latest issue of "Indialogo" (the monthly magazine of the Diocese Nolana) on the "dignity in today's society", where it was brought to the attention of readers sense of dignity in Italian society today. A company representing the person as an object or end user of the product as an integral part of the machine productive and not quite as rich a person of intelligence, heart, soul, affections. Immediately after these touching testimonies, the conference came alive with the introduction of John Nughes. The intervention of the Secretary of the CGIL di Napoli has been focusing on the theme of work, analyzing it in terms of union. Cha intervention found that the profound changes in employment have in fact changed the system of rights, both individually and collectively, and democracy in the workplace.
The debate continued with the intervention Att. Di Celmo technical-legal and political union with the analysis framework existing legal and regulatory environment. Analyze the sources, Di Celmo, assessed the impact, largely negative, the rights of workers and territorial development: "There is a normative confusion on this matter. What should be governed by simple laws and instead is based on a shared set of rules far easier - said Di Celmo-Just think of the causes of work in most cases ending. " Salvatore Velardi, on behalf of the CGIL and Nolana Vesuvius, has not failed to give absolutely negative feedback on the agreement signed between the Minister and the President of the Region Gelmini Caldoro distributed on the closure of universities, including one University "Parthenope" di Nola.
"We will support all the initiatives undertaken by the students, said Velasquez - We must act soon to avert such a decision that, if implemented, will not only ease discomforts serious students, their families, professionals and academics, but also represents a unacceptable erosion of territory, economic and cultural. This would be a blow to the area of Nola and Vesuvius could not support. " The union representative also expressed his thoughts to some workers Roccaraionola, about a hundred, expression of the employment problems of our territories. Among the various witnesses to Joseph Grauso, a young lawyer practicing in Nola.
Grauso, representative of the Left party Ecology and Freedom, founded by Nichi Vendola, spoke of trying young unemployed, especially in a difficult territory as Nola, are becoming more open to blackmail, "Marchionne and the Legislature are the result of the attack on trade union - said the representative of SEL Nolan - With regard to labor rights, the current rules leave workers even more isolated. But it must be emphasized that those "no" to referendum of Mirafiori and Pomigliano serve to give dignity and rights for all workers. "Serena Sorrentino, national secretary of the CGIL, was the reasons for criticism of the CGIL current government, with emphasis on the lack of consideration given to issues and problems of work, enterprise and South
considerations that have tried to give, as you have pointed out, counter to the themes discussed in the meeting. "Workers today are asked to waive their rights before entering the world of work. We want to bring discussion to focus on two key elements namely: review of the contractual model and bring to full democracy and the participation of workers ". Some data gives the sense of existing differential: unemployment twice the north, poverty, rapidly growing and twice the national average, job insecurity and, too often, weak and insecure, moonlighting on the rise, businesses close, stolen and diverted resources from the south towards other goals, an average life of three years less than in the north.
are just some of the indicators that show the distance between the two abysmal "ITALIA". Only with the involvement of workers and southern regions, according to the findings of Sorrentino, the country can successfully pass the current crisis.

Very thick the participation of representatives of local associations, social organizations and political workers and ordinary citizens.
The conference, moderated by Salvatore Velardi, head of the CGIL Nolana, opened with the reading, by Indian Charlie of young student sent a letter to a national newspaper, worried about their future and the model of the Italian woman who now promotes .
The response of the reporter (a precarious "luxury", as she defines it), read by Nunzia Cassese proposes the theme dell'impossibiltà to plan a project of life, in the absence of certainty and stable attachment. Considerations are certainly loving and very effectively the condition of our young people today and those south in particular.
E 'followed the reading by of Rossana Corbo, an article on "dignity in today's society" appeared in the latest edition of "Indialogo," the magazine of the Diocese of Nola. An article where one wonders about the sense of dignity in Italian society today.
A company representing the person as an object or end user of the product as an integral part of the production machine and not quite as rich a person of intelligence, heart, soul, affections.
readings introduced participants to the central theme of the debate: work. The introduction of John
Marco Esposito (Professor of Law, University Parthenope), represented. Nulli and Mr. Patrick. Arrotta Francis (School of Forensic Nola), lawyer. Sabatino Dioguardi (Democratic Lawyers of Nola), the lawyer. A Angela Cutolo and represented. Grauso Joseph, the ass. Social Policies Archangel Annunziata.
Salvatore Velardi, on behalf of the CGIL Nolana, has not failed to give absolutely negative feedback on the agreement signed between the Minister and the President of the Region Gelmini Caldoro distributed on the closure of universities, including the University of Parthenope Nola
.
Velardi assured that it will support any initiative that will be decided by the student body of Nola and called on all institutional, social, political, economic to form a common front against this decision, if implemented, will not only produce serious inconvenience to students, their families, professionals and academics, but also represents an unacceptable erosion of territory, economic and cultural. This would be a blow to the area of Nola and Vesuvius could not support.
Serena Sorrentino, national secretary of the CGIL union, in a speech highly appreciated, was the reason the current government criticism of the CGIL, focusing the lack of consideration that is given to issues and problems of labor, employers and the South
Rating exacerbated by the failed choices made in respect of the southern region which, in a context of economic crisis, could be abandoned to their fate without any prospects.
Some data gives the sense of existing differential: unemployment twice in the north, rapidly growing poverty and twice the national average, job insecurity and, too often, weak and insecure, moonlighting on the rise, businesses close, Southern stolen and diverted resources to other goals, an average life of three years less than in the north. These are just some indicators that show the abysmal distance between the two Italys.
For these reasons, it was again the centrality of work, its quality, respect for workers' rights, a law on union representation and democracy in the workplace, the reform of the social contract and model: elements that are basic points that will support the CGIL and bring to the country, not excluding new shares to the workers' struggle.

Only with the involvement of employees and the southern parts of the country can successfully pass the current crisis.

CGIL CONGRESS ON WORK AND RIGHTS OF DEMOCRACY February 25

The conference, moderated by Salvatore Velardi, head of the CGIL Nolana, opened with the reading, by Indian Charlie, a letter addressed to a young student newspaper nazionale, preoccupata del proprio futuro e del modello di donna che la società italiana di oggi promuove.

Nughes he has raised the issue of labor union from the point of view, some critics, describing and analyzing how it has undergone profound changes that have altered the system of rights, individual and collective, and democracy in places work.
The debate continued for the following two lines, inevitably meet and cross: the legal-technical and the political union. From
Comms. Di Celmo, in fact, the confrontation took place between the analysis of existing legal and regulatory framework and the assessments on impact, often negative, on workers' rights and possibilities for development of the territory and the country. Speakers included the Mayor

Alcuni dati danno il senso del differenziale essiente: la disoccupazione doppia rispetto al nord, la povertà in crescita vertiginosa e doppia rispetto alla media nazionale, lavoro precario and, all too often, weak and insecure, moonlighting on the rise, businesses close, stolen and diverted resources from the south towards other goals, an average life of three years less than in the north.
